The Dryzone Damp-Resistant Plaster Fast-Set Formula is a breathable pre-blended renovation plaster with natural cement and special additives to keep dampness at bay and controlling salt migration while setting quickly. It has been created to be faster-setting than other renovation plasters while yet maintaining excellent salt resistance and breathability. This makes it perfect for small areas, such as adjusting uneven walls or projects that need to completed quickly.

Fast-Setting & Breathable Renovation Plaster

The Dryzone Damp-Resistant Plaster Fast-Set Formula is intended to set in two hours under normal conditions, allowing for multiple applications of each day. The breathable structure not only aids drying but also makes it suitable for both modern and heritage renovation projects. It is also a workable plaster, making it ideal for smaller areas, time-sensitive projects and dubbing out uneven walls.

Resists Salt on Walls

When a wall has been subjected to rising damp, hygroscopic salts from the groundwater are likely to have been deposited within the masonry. This can cause crumbling plaster, blistering plaster and salt efflorescence – even after the rising damp has been stopped. Standard gypsum-based plasters allow these salts to leach through to the new plaster surface. Dryzone Damp-Resistant Plaster Fast-Set Formula is salt-resistant and great for use after a rising damp has been treated with Dryrod Damp-Proofing Rods.

Suitable for Application to Damp Walls

The highly breathable nature of Dryzone Damp-Resistant Plaster Fast-Set Formula makes it perfect for use on walls that are drying out after treatment for rain penetration with Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream. In addition, the open-pore structure of the plaster allows for high vapour permeability, which allows for application to damp walls that are drying out without hindering the drying process or trapping moisture.
