Introducing the Green Roof Kit – a complete solution designed to transform your extension, garage, or shed flat roof into a stunning green space. This innovative kit provides you with the materials required to prepare your roof for turf, sedum, or any suitable plants of your choosing.

Included in the Green Roof Kit is the Oldroyd Xv20 GreenXtra, a dark green studded drainage membrane equipped with perforations. Its design allows for holding some rainwater while simultaneously preventing the waterlogging of the roof. The Oldroyd Tp filter fleece that comes with the kit is laid on top to retain the soil. Meanwhile, the Safeguard Root Barrier is installed underneath to protect your roof’s waterproofing.

Designed to cover up to 9 m2, the Green Roof Kit includes:

• 1 x Oldroyd Typar Filter Fleece (2 m × 5 m)
• 3 x Oldroyd Xv20 GreenXtra sheets (2 m × 1.5 m)
• 1 x Safeguard Root Barrier Membrane (2 m × 5 m)

However, preparation is essential for a successful installation! Ensure your roof surface is thoroughly brushed clean of any debris and that it possesses an intact, high-quality waterproofing layer free of defects. Adequate perimeter drainage or guttering should be provided for rainwater run-off, and the structure must be strong enough to support your plant selection.
